Default Not Happy w tow mirrors

So, I had a friend of mine order a set of the tow mirrors from 1aauto for my 2011 F150 scab. I got the pwr adjust, heated, tun signal, puddle lgt, manual forl and manual extend.
I must say that I am not happy with them at all. The right mirror motor is jerky and mirror shakes going down the road. The left mirror has a broke mushroom head that is formed from the stand off that holds the pieces togeter, 1 of the three are broke. I installed them last week or so and have sold my stock mirrors. I sent Tony a pm and he replied with a number to call. Well, I have been hung up on twice before I can even explain whats going on. Is this normal or are they having issues? I would really like to get this taken care off without the hassles and am worried I am going to be stuck.......

That's troubling to hear. I was waiting on the power fold they're allegedly working on, but those were announced last year and still haven't shown up. If these types of quality issues are common maybe I'll just stick with my stock mirrors.

I really hope that I am an isolated issue but on the other hand it really sucks.
My issue is, I have no stock mirrors now to ship these back. They would need to send me a replacement set and me send the bad ones back.
I will try AGAIN this week to contact them, after I get off my night shift work week on wednesday.

It would have been helpful if you had included that within thread topic, which caught my eye thinking you meant OEM mirrors. I've only had my new truck 8 days but the (Max Tow) PowerScope mirrors have functioned flawlessly - as expected since they're included (optionally) on so many F250 SD trucks.

Buying aftermarket repro stuff is often risky. Seems to me it, comparing FoMoCo engineering and mass produced mirrors to that offered on the secondary market is unwise. We don't always get what we pay for...

Who is tony? Is he affiliated with 1aauto? If not I would be calling 1AAuto and complain to them.

I had the 1A tow mirrors (now have OEM power fold tow mirror takeoffs from a 2013) and was pleased with them, as many people are. I think the quality issues with yours is isolated.
