I just jumped out of my truck this morning to go get a smoothie and my damn driver door won't latch, lock, nothing, leaving it completely vulnerable. The interior door handle was stuck like so...



I'm not very pleased.

What year is your truck? When I had my 2010 I remember them doing a recall on the handles for something like this.

yeah my 09 had a recall on door handels too.

Well then I may be in luck. It's a 2010 FX4 screw.

Should just take it in. Less than 20 mins in and out as long as they have the parts. For about a year they kept telling me the parts were on back order. Good luck!

The service advisor said the only open recall she saw for door handles, was for the chrome peeling off the interior handle.

Anyone know the website for open recall listings?

Ford has a ****ty policy for fixing Broken things under their BTB Warranty! Trust me I know, they denied my broken grill, said the only way theyd replace it if was a Defect! Good luck, maybe you'll find a good dealer who'll replace it, but I doubt Ford will say yes!
