Default Not the blend door actuator

Ok i need a little help here. The actuator that controls which vents the air blows out of failed on my 2012 F150 XLT. The problem is I can only find used actuators with this part number on ebay. I would rather not buy this particular item used, is it actuallly the same as the blend door actuator or is this a different actuator. Thanks in advance for the help.

RockAuto seems to list all the HVAC actuators with prices ranging from $10-35, what part number is it that you're trying to match up?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with what trim levels have which options, do you mean the actuator failed as far as dual zone (driver/passenger) or failed as far as upper/lower vents. Post up the part number or ebay ad. I may be able to verify if they are one and the same as I've been researching different modules for my upcoming actuator fix.

Be careful b4 u buy on eBay - I almost purchased a blend actuator indicating my year truck & noticed the screw hole tab in a different location. Ended up getting a completely different part number than listed ( many other part numbers out there listed for similar actuators!)

That's exactly why I posted. I've put the part number in google, and it points me to different places, but when I investigate the part it's always the blend door actuator. As I previously posted Ebay has several of the ones I need, but they are all used.

I did find this on the Tasca parts website, the part number isn't the same, but according to the diagram it's the actuator that I need.

Could be an updated product, hence the different number.

This is very simple. Go to fordparts.com and insert your VIN, go to HVAC ----> heater control valve and related components and then find your blender motor on there. Since this is a maintenance part it's going to have a motorcraft part as well. Since most of these trucks are the same, if you're looking for the defrost/panel/floor blender then the Motorcraft number is YH-1881. It'll be around $50

Call or better yet go into your local dealer and see. I bet there is a new part number that supersedes that one.
