they did the work a coupla months ago...august...fan noise just started a few days ago...loud and annoying...and outa warranty...
so it ran for several months after the big service without the noise...
loud and unacceptable, i'd call it!

Settings dependent on ambient temp and humidity I think and if AC is on. Truck just trying to quickly reach your AC settings..

Their is a thread on this, do a search for engine fan noise.

Someone posted graph with all parameters and when fan kicks on. Kinda interesting. I had my truck for 1 year before I noticed, came on howling like it was fixing to take off, on initial startup!

ac wasnt on. actually stopped to feed chickens on farm st. in bastrop...got back in, started it up, and there's the noise...

so it sits all day at work...i start it up, and 2 seconds later the fan kicks in...i think i'm going to cuss. hold your ears.

then i started getting a buzzing sort of noise that followed along with the transmission! traded it in tonight.
yeah, a 2015 f'n150 sport model with shifter on the console, rear camera, rear sliding window, something called bluetooth, etc etc etc...lol...
white with dark grey interior...
it's friggin' awesome!
