Default Noise!!!

so im sure someone has posted already but before i take my truck to a field and set it on fire , does anyone elses truck creak when you hit a bump, turn, pull up on a hill ?? mine does and it is BAD! iv tried putting all sorts of crap on it to stop it, and for just says "its normal" wtf its an 09..

Have you identified where exactly the noise comes from?
If not, maybe someone could jump on the bed while you look around to identify the source. Once you know where it comes from it will be easier to fix

i really want to say the leaf springs...any movement on them makes a pretty nasty sound...as much as i wanna just spray it down with wd-40..lol well ya

If it is the leaf springs I'd recommend using CRC white lithium grease. My Sport Trac had the same problem and after a good spraying it quieted down considerably.

There is another thread on this same topic.
I found in my '09 that the noise was coming from the spare tire rubbing on the frame. The cable wich doesn't seem to hold it tightly enough. My solution was to place some thin rubber mating between the wheel rim & frame. Haven't heard a sound since.
