No more Red Candy for the 2013?
 

Looks like the Red Candy for 2013 has been replaced with Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clear-coat and the RR paint code.

Also it looks like according to the ordering guide you also can't get Gray interior, but can get Black or Pecan.

Now I could be reading this wrong, but I'm glad I got my gray leather seats. I would also like to compare the red's and see how close they are in color (Red Candy vs Ruby Red).

The black and pecan interiors are on the platinum trim.

Ruby Red is already produced on the Taurus, Edge and Explorer if you want to check it out. Also, the Pecan interior is on some of the limited models of the Edge and Explorer, as well as the 2013 Super Duty Platinum.

The pecan leather looks really nice. I still love the chaparral leather in the KR.

I didn't think I would ever consider a red truck, but... I drove through a Ford lot the other day and saw several Ruby Red cars in the bright sun. WOW that is a fantastic color. The tint makes it look very deep and rich.

When I was looking for a truck a out two months ago I wanted the Golden Bronze two tone and where I live the KR are very limited. I was going to order a 2013 but they also discontinued the Golden Bronze as well. I really did not like the other colors that were a available. Fortantly for me I did find the KR I wanted. I also really like the new leather as well. Should hold up much better. I know some like the look of the older leather but most that I have seen look like they were staining. Different strokes for different folks.

hmmm....i just checked it out. the red ruby is a better colour IMO.
so I have no problem with it. i also like a blue that will be new for the 2013 f-150. so not too bad. and the 2013 is a great facelift.
i think the red ruby is a bit lighter than the red candy. i like it better myself.
