I thought the wrangler authority was the budget duratrac? Either way, both tires seem to be liked by most.

Default Good looking Tire

I saw those Good4ayear tires at Walmart and I will say they look good , But that's as far as I go with those expensive tires although at Wally they aren't to bad .... I have seen a few sets of Duratarack's in town on trucks ...nothing special IMO , I know they must be an OK tire for some guys but I've just had nothing but Bad luck from them and wont ever buy another Goodyear tire .
I looked at the Kelly Safari TSR ,this tire had a ton of high reviews and I almost went with them . After reading a few articles and over 50 super high reviews I had to go with the Cooper Discovery ST Max (285/70/17") .They look super aggressive for an AT and suppose to be quiet as OEM tires and from what many were saying getting 50,000 outta them is no problem as long as you rotate them every 3-5k .... Can't wait to get them on the truck , never found a set of Raptor wheels I could afford so I'm stuck w/ OEM wheels Im hoping these tires help give the truck a better stance than oem Michelin , last thing I need to do is get a set of 700 lb Coils to replace the oem cushy ride coils .... They will help eliminate body roll so it drives more like a sporty truck instead of a bus Wish Id thought about those heavier coils when I had the Front Pro Comps installed , gonna be a pain to do but I hate the way these trucks handle stock so I have to do something if Im going to keep it for 5 more yrs ..BTW that Fierce Attitude tire is sold under a few other brands as well so maybe Goodyear actually makes it ...Ive seen them in person and they look good but dont last long from what I saw on my neighbors truck .... Cooper makes a bunch of other big name tires .. Micky Thompson , Dick Cepek , Master craft , Star fire , Dean , Kumho and Gladiator and own 51% in Kenda Tire of China to name a few

Welp I'm at the shop getting the leveling kit installed. As I suspected based on the low cost, the owner and I were referring to two different Rough Country 2.5" leveling kits. I wanted the full kit with the shocks and u-bolts, but he just bought the spacers. So I have to get those spacers put on today so I can get the Duratracs on this afternoon. Then come back in a few days and pay an extra couple hundred for the rear shocks and u-bolts to be put on. This sucks...

That sucks but on the plus side I think you'll really like the Duratracs. To me it seemed like the most capable all-rounder accompanied by glowing reviews.

This is exactly the feedback I would give for these tires. I have 275/70 18's and was surprised at how much rougher the 10 ply made the ride and the decrease in mileage. I really like the tires off road and the looks however. I plan to get another set when these wear but hope to change to a P rated tire rather than the E rated 10 ply.

The Wrangler Authority is the super budget version of the Duratracs. The Authorities are sold at Walmart. The Fierce Attitudes are the budget ones that all dealers sell.

Me on the drive home: Oh, I should turn off the radio to see if the tires hum like people say. *turns off radio, listens* I don't hear anything... *minute passes* Oh wait, I hear the hum. *listens intently to make sure I do indeed hear a hum* Another minute passes *turns radio back on and continues to jam out to some country*

So yes, there is a hum, but so far to me it's barely noticeable without the radio on and not noticeable at all with the radio on. Now having said that, I've only driven ~10 miles so far. I'll wait until I can get some more drive time before I can give you a better answer. Ride feels good so far, but again need more drive time.

Size: 285/60R20
