I hear what your saying. I like noise like exhaust and intakes I'm just new to trucks and have never lifted and put wheels on one before.
At the same time trying to keep the boss happy.
Most likely the kids and music will drown out the sound anyway in the city.

I tow a 24' boat a few times during the summer also. What tire would you look into getting next time?

Another +1 for the Toyo OC M/Ts I have no experience with the Trail grapplers, but the Toyo isn't bad on noise, my stock exhaust is louder. I was going to say they look better than the Nittos, but that's more a personal preference thing.

Hadn't made a choice yet since I only have about 20k miles on them but from the responses to this thread I am liking the Toyo Open Country AT II XT.

I think I will be getting a quote for the Toyo OC.

They will more than likely be my next tire man. They are just awesome looking for an AT. They have a lot of space between the tread. I've heard of so many people loving them. A couple of people have them on their trucks. Look up Toyo Open Country AT2 Extreme on google. There are some pics of them on a tacoma and they look awesome.
THESE AREN'T MY PICS.

Here are some pics of the toyos.
The Tacoma don't know the size of these.

These are on a 4 Door Jeep JK They are 35x12.50x17, these are the size and specs I am going to possibly get.

Might have to go with these tires. A little more quiet and much longer tread life with the look.

Another +1 here on Toyo open County smooth and quiet on highway.
But if you have more to spend, check BF Goodrich tires, especially All Terrain KO and Mud Terrain KM.

The Toyo Open Country M/Ts are quite a bit more expensive than the Nitto Trail Grapplers. If you do end up with them, let us know what you pay for them. I'd get them if I could find them cheaper than I am.
