Default Nite shades on the taillights. $15 mod goes the distance.

Had to change some tail lights today so decided to add some night shades. My tail lights, 3rd brake light and mirror reflectors got the treatment. $10 go the paint and $5 for the tape. Decided, since I have the XLT trim to keep the chrome in the tail lights. I will be upgrading to new LED tail lights soon, but had some idle time. Also. Gonna be adding LEDS my side view reflectors and LED bulbs all the way around. Will post pics when those are in.

Did you clearcoat them? Way too matte without it, in my opinion. Clear em, wetsand, and buff em and they will look awesome.

Nite shades will actually look glossy if you know how to use a rattle can. If you dont, it looks like matte and poopy.

So my next MOD is going to be LED strip lighting in the bed, wired so when my cargo light is on, they are on, AND also operated by a remote switch located within the bed.

I havent yet. I was considering it for next weekend but might just hold off on that since I plan on upgrading the whole lens.
