There's not a phone in the world that would last with me without a good rubber case
Iv dropped it off roofs & ladders, cranes, found it on the street more then once. I Threw a 28oz estwing hammer 20' to another guy on the other side of the top plate,he missed and don't you no that frickin hammer claw lands right on top of the phone, the phone falls off the 3rd floor and lands on concrete. The case broke but the camera was good
It all depends on your work

If you don't like the reduced touch of the cases with a built-in screen protector, you can have one put directly on the phone and peel the one off the case. You end up with screen protection and good touch sensitivity.
The case won't be waterproof any more, so don't do this if that is important to you. I think the Lifeproof case is depth rated to only 6 feet anyway, so you aren't losing much.
It's a great option for the OB Defender. Plus it gets rid of the annoying rainbow effect on the screen.
I had a screen protector installed at a local mall kiosk for $20. Took about 2 minutes. Warrantied for life.

Yea. I saw your post. Pretty brave to dive with your phone! My son and I bought a GoPro a few weeks ago. Looking forward to our first dive with it!
