Default New winter Tires/rims TPMS

Hi folks, just had a new set of studded tires and plain rims put on my 2013 without the tpms sensors as they were not available at the time and will be installed in a week or two when they come in. I have driven to and from work now, 30km(18miles) each way and I am not getting a light on the dash. My wifes 2007 Ridgeline will turn the light on in about 5km with my set of rims/tires with bad sensor(s) that I use in the summer. Is it possible without any sensors at all I will not get a dash light ??

It takes about 20 min or 40k then the light will come on, no big deal hit the reset button and its just a little light on the dash.

I swapped mine rims out for winter, but I put back on OEM 18" rims with the factory sensors. I expected to have to re-pair the sensors but i have never got a light at all. Its so sketchy I half believe the damn system doesn't do anything.

you can always air a tire down and see what happens

I had a really slow leak from a thorn ... didn't even know my truck had tpms until I got in to go someplace and the warning came on - sure enough, front right tire was down around 25psi

thanks for the feedback, I am now even more perplexed, took the long way to and from work today 46km each way, still no light on, summer tires(scorpions) are in the garage so no chance of signal there, will keep driving, if I do not need the sensors will save me $250, just hate to have a dash light on a truck with 5500km's on it.
