I recently had to get my 2010 platinum windshield replaced and I specificly asked for a carlite windshield. After the install I noticed they put a pilkington windhshield in and it now has a very annoying whistle @ 70 mph. Question is, should I insist that they put the carlite in? or is the pilkington just as good? I am going to make them fix the whistle reguardless but I am debating making them put the quoted windshield in. Those of you who have replaced you windshield, what brand did you get? Thanks

Sounds like an installation mistake to me. Did the 2010 Paltinums have the SoundScreen windshields? Pilkington glass has been around for a long time and their windshields are just as good as any other IMO.

Yea they have the soundscreens. And they said this one would as well
