Default New Whelen LED Fogs installed

Just thought I'd share,

I'm a volunteer firefighter and was looking for some more lights for my POV. I was also in search of LED fogs to go along with my retrofits(color wise). So I got the best of both worlds, Whelen sells a 4 inch round driving/warning light that fits directly onto the expedition/f150 fog light housings.

These lights are extremely bright. They are white, and automatically switch to blue when "warning" mode is activated.

Volunteer EMS/FD members are allowed to have blue lights or blue/white lights for when they are responding to their appropriate hq or call.

The real key to LED fogs is how well and the shape of projection. It's kinda useless to take a picture of the light shining at the camera cuz even a 2W light bulb is bright in the dark. Take a picture from inside the cab with only the LED fogs on to really get the gist of the light quality. I have LED backup light bulbs in the stock housing and they are very good. Mind you it wasn't without it's trails and tribulations. Whelen is a good company so I'm reasonably sure they will be some decent lights.

They look nice! I have the same ones installed, I've been running them for about 6 months now. They really do put off a ton of extra light to the sides and in front of the factory Bi- xenons, my favorite mod so far.

Being lifted, they do shine a lot more upwards then my projectors, but since my headlights are so bright(evox-R, 55W), it just makes my truck light up everything lol
