New trucks are expensive!!!!
Just built and priced my exact pickup(2011 xlt/xtr ecoscrew 4x4 max tow)my sticker price was 47 and change paid 35 with rebates. The 2013 with all the same options called the xlt mid option(xtr) was 54,000 wtf. Oh and i couldn't option 3.73 with the eco with max tow. Mind you this was on ford of canada's website. Pricing may differ in the us

If you were ford's CEO would you lower prices if people continued to buy at the high price?
lol
I agree though, my 2007 Silverado new was $27,000 with GMS, and my FX4 was almost double that!

It look's like the more they go up on the price the more they sell. The economy woes and the gas prices aren't stopping people from buying them. At least down this way. I'm the poor boy on my block, everyone else has F-250 diesel's!

You got F'd in the A if what you paid was almost double that. I'm hoping you are joking that you paid $50,000 for your truck

That's what they are going for. My new order was almost 49 and I am not getting much off that price. I also spec'ed a GMC equivilant and was right up there.

My 11 4x4 crew xtr was 45 msrp. Out the door price with tax was $35K. I got 12,000 off the sticker with manufactures incentives and an aditional 3500 from dealer
