New Tires Purchased: Opinions (good or bad)

OP I have some bad news... Those tires in the pic are not DuraTrac's, they look like LS2's or some other ****ty all season.

You mean the Atturo XT? I have no personal experience but they seem decently priced and when I was deciding on a setup, it seemed like 90% of the guys on customwheeloffset ran some form of Atturo, so they can't be that bad. I considered them myself but I am probably going with Toyo MTs

How would you save and where would the savings be, cost of tires? Fuel would be the about the same other than rim weight, I'm assuming.

Hell, I don't even have time anymore to hit the desert or mountains so I can say that 98% of my driving will be city for work, daycare, etc. My poor motorcycle I bought new 3yrs ago before I got married just sits sadly in the backyard on its stands with spider webs on the darn thing. Can't even find the time to get her out. 😩
I think the Atturo XT may work out if he's willing to take these back and get the others on.

Usually tire cost is slightly less for the same tire size. 35x12.5 in a 20" wheel generally costs more than the 18" wheel version. But that only really matters if you drive a lot. I replace my tires every 4-6 years depending on wear. If I spend an extra $100-$200 for my 20" wheels than the cost savings isn't significant over the life of the truck. In fact, the 35x12.5 in the 18" and 20" for the ridge grappler is the exact same price. For a comparable 33" size mine cost $10 more per tire for the 20".
I think as the 20" wheel is becoming more popular the cost difference is dwindling. You would actually think the 18" would be more expensive since there is more rubber.
Edit* bfg ko2 in a 35x12.5 18 or 20 is a $2 difference. 35x12.5x17 was about $40 cheaper per tire.
