New tires. BFG or Nittos?

New tires. BFG or Nittos?
I'm up for new tires. I have Nitto terra grapplers 275/70 R18 46,000 miles on them and some tread left.
I went and looked at tires and it was suggested to get BFG all terrain 275/70 R18
I'm happy with the sound of the nitto terra grapplers. And the look. Anyone have an opinion on the two tires? Hows the sound and longevity of the BFG?
Thanks.

I have the trail grapplers and absolutely love them.. a little hum on the highway but not bad, definitely bearable.. as for off-road, I've yet to get stuck anywhere snow or mud, but I don't "go mudding" either (not that I wouldn't, just haven't had an opportunity).. I think my brother has the terra grapplers on his expedition, he likes those, but if you already have them then you already know what they're like.. personally, I love my trail grapplers.. but next time I might go mud grapplers + new rims...
as far as longevity, I'm about a year and a half or a little longer on the trail grapplers and they're wearing fine, admitedly not a ton of miles because in the summer I ride my motorcycle.. probably my only gripe about the trail grapplers is the 10 ply stiffness.. like riding on logs which has pros and cons....

BFG's will be the most expensive from what ive seen. If you are happy with the terra's i'd go ahead with them again. Plenty of other tires to look at though. Toyo, Cooper, Bridgestone Revo's.
Trail Grapplers are a mud tire. Take care of them and you could see similar mileage but i would expect a little less than an actual AT style tire. Road noise will be increased slightly.

I have the 275/70r18 bfg on one of our family trucks, they have about 6,000 miles on them and they are wearing great and there not that much louder than the stock tire. I also got them for $220 a tire. On my truck I have the nitto terra grappler in p275/60r20 and they seem pretty good so far.

either way, I think Nitto is a decent brand and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again..

It's all about Nitto.. Just kidding, iv had good luck with my Nittos so far (knock on wood). Love the hum on the highway. Will wear nicely if rotated and proper psi. Incredible off-road.
Nitto mud Graps for the win! Haha or for me anyway..
