There is certainly wisdom to this. While I got great lifespan out the them, the quality/capabilities weren't always the best. I had to use 4wd in a few time I really shouldn't have needed to and one time, I had to be pulled out of mud on the edge of my driveway.
The KO2 have better ratings and reviews on Tire Rack.

You just can't go wrong with the BFG A/T KO2. I knew that and bought the Duratracs anyway based on all the hype from other people and Tire Rack ratings. Huge regret!!! Duratracs are loud and the traction SUCKS! Dry traction is poor, wet traction borders on dangerous, and I am dreading ice this winter.

My search skills are lacking so apologies if this is a repeated question.
My 2011 XLT SCREW's original BFG Rugged Terrain T/A have nearly 91,000 miles on them and are at 3/32" tread depth. I want to replace them before the heart of winter arrives. The truck came with LT245/75R17 tires on 5-bolt wheels.
I'm leaning toward the BFG All Terrain T/A KO2. What other tires should I look at?
