Any other Canadian's update their trucks?
I'm hesitant to update if it eliminates USB2.
I am interested to see if we Canadians now have access to the AppLink functions though.

I updated my truck today and it appears to kill USB2, there's still 5V there for charging but sync doesn't see any media. It also appears Canadians don't get AppLink, an American member posted the US description of V4.4 and I compared it to my Canadian description of V4.4 and we get everything except the AppLink upgrade.

Not sure what did it but try those steps and see what shakes.

Mine is a 14 XLT with the 4.2" non touch. The Ford site says it's up to date with Gen 1 4.3. Curious as to whether I'll get the update or not.

Just completed the update.... I was stuck on "Installation Finished" with no "OK" button for about 30 minutes... I finally decided to Pair the phone again and was excited to see everything working...
There are some quirks though:
-I can download my SMS, i just can't reply to them... It says failed... I will try a master reset later
-When you press the MEDIA button and select Bluetooth I get the Artist/Song info! AWESOME!!!!! However, if I press MAP.... It simply says "Media Stream" in the lower right and I can't get it to say anything different.

I cant even get sync to recognize there are any files on the usb drive. I have downloaded it again and tried three different flash drives. I guess when I am in the dealer this weekend getting my first oil change I will have them update it since it should be covered by warranty
