Dropped this bad boy off for prep and paint today, having it installed Friday! This thing is gonna look mean (and functional ram air with heat extractors is a plus too!

I'll have more pics Friday afternoon when I get it put on...

It's fiberglass, 10 pounds lighter than stock and much more aggressive:thumbsup:

So ready do have it installed, and I'm ready to see if I get slightly better fuel economy and a little more throttle response from the ram air scoop and heat extractors, especially if I pair it with a cold air intake and a tuner... still trying to figure out which direction to go with either of those.

It wasn't cheap though, about $950 plus $150 shipping because it came via freight carrier. On top of that about $150 for paint, so we're looking at a total of around $1250 give or take some....

Damn that is pricey, but beauty ain't cheap. I bet it helps mpgs a bit. I have the airaid cai and sct x3 from 5 star. Just 87 performance/tow tune. Love it. It is a bit loud at times, but I do have magnaflow sido. U might check the threads with afe. Mike at 5 star I believe built a cover for the afe intake that some claim toned it down a little, but u might like it loud. Either way u go, that is gonna b sick w that hood. No doubt.
