I thought I had a better pic but this is all I have.

There is just a little clip that holds the light in. Small screw driver is all you need.

What I want to find out is what the stock puddle light bulb size is so that I can "rebuild" those to give to a friend.

Two flat screwdrivers. One small and one medium.

Here is a picture of the stock units to give you an idea of how these lights are secured in the mirror housing.

I think there may be a video of someone changing their puddle lamps.

Anyway, very easy to change as others have mentioned.

Recently installed my DriveBright puddle lamps. These definitely provide a brighter & whiter light.

As others have mentioned I did not use the LED tag light bulbs that came with the puddle lights, I prefer the OSRAM 194/168 LED bulb (1 watt, 6,000K).

All of my interior and exterior lighting is now LED (except for the HID headlights).

What Philips tag bulbs are those? I got a pair of Sylvania 194s and am less than pleased. Those look amazing!

Sorry, I got mixed up on what brand of bulb I installed where. For the tag lights, I installed Osram (Sylvania) LED bulbs, 1W, 6000K.

My back-up lights are Philips LEDs.

I will correct my earlier post, if I can.

The cell phone photo could be enhancing the brightness a little, although, those LEDs really are a lot brighter than stock.
