I have to say there are numerous features I've never had before (some on other models as well). The cooled seats are jammin'! Subtle, but sooo nice! I am fascinated by the auto windshield wipers as well. BTW, where is the sensor for that? It really works well for the most part, but occassionally I do get the rogue wipe for no reason.

I loved both the platinum and the FX and found one with almost everything on it the platinum had exceptions the steering wheel and the dark wood center and the blue gauges (mine are red) Mine has all the electronics auto wipers, steering column, heat/ cooled seats, black interior, etc with all the appearance of the FX on the out side.

And if it is, then you wouldn't have a power steering column or auto wipers. All loaded FX4's come with a black interior and heated/cooled seats. You can get one if you order it that way. I just got lucky and someone else did and then backed out of the deal. Their loss my gain. I bought a 2013black on black FX4 with the full platinum interior options couple weeks ago Only difference is I have the red gauges on the dash but all the options of a platinum. And I am loving it
