That's what I'd like to see also. Like the sporty look of the FX4 and the amenities of the Platinum!

Those would sell like hot cakes!!!!!

Yep. I love the platinum interior but don't want to spend $6-8k more for it in Canada.

Ouch.

Congrats on the new Platinum!!I absolutely LOVE my Platinum and didn't want to settle for anything less. I figured since I keep my vehicles for a very long time...why not get everything I wanted in the truck and be able to enjoy all the comforts it has. I am also a gadget man at heart and love all the comforts etc. that it has.

I would have to agree with you on that one. I love the interior of the Platinum. My favorite Platinum "exclusive" is the steering wheel. It really looks and feels upscale. The aluminum trim and the darker wood "like" trim look great together with the black interior. It's really a great space to spend some time!

I have to say there are numerous features I've never had before (some on other models as well). The cooled seats are jammin'! Subtle, but sooo nice! I am fascinated by the auto windshield wipers as well. BTW, where is the sensor for that? It really works well for the most part, but occassionally I do get the rogue wipe for no reason.

Again, great to be here and part of the family. I hope everyone has a great day!

I also love the steering wheel it sure makes it look classy! Everyone really likes the cooled seats as well. I am a human heater and for me they keep my backside from sweating...lol The other thing I really love is the AMP power steps!! I think every truck should be that way...tuck out of the way when not needed and then when they come down they allow you to use the ENTIRE step to put your foot on, not like some of the others that you can only get the edge of your foot on.

You can get one if you order it that way. I just got lucky and someone else did and then backed out of the deal. Their loss my gain. I bought a 2013black on black FX4 with the full platinum interior options couple weeks ago Only difference is I have the red gauges on the dash but all the options of a platinum. And I am loving it

Very nice truck, and welcome to this GREAT forum. With the millions of F-150's out there, this forum is a very active one.
I would love to have those hidden running boards for my Lariat --- but you can't have everything ---- oh wait, yes you can if you get the Platinum!! Two

Congrats on the new truck.

Not to intrude on this thread so I have sent you a PM in regards to the offer to help with SYNC Navigation question.

Now to the OP, Great looking P L A T I N U M! I too am a Platinum owner upgraded from a 2001 Screw so the difference for me is incredible. I am enjoyed every single moment spent in the truck except for the part of trying to park it away from everybody. 9 months strong and NO scratch.
