I have been driving around now for about a week with the update. I have seen an average improvement of about 2 miles per gallon on average. I am at 18.1 mpg currently, and I was at 16.1 in the same conditions before the update.
I am in A LOT of stop and go traffic so an 18.1 average is pretty good. As far as power, I have not really noticed a multitude of extra ponies. Feels about the same.

After the PCM reflash was performed, will running a new vehicle health report still show that the recall needs to be done? Had the recall done on Wednesday, and it still shows up in the vehicle health report. No real mileage change so far, by the way.

It took a couple of days (150 mi???) before mine started to come up.

I was really suprised because in my '11, everytime it was reflashed the mpg went down for quite a while (like 400 miles) before it came back to "normal". I really wasn't expecting and increase at all....

I have mine scheduled to go into tomorrow for the re-flash. I noticed that my tail pipe is really sooty/black. I wonder if it would be a good idea to run some Techron additive in the tank. Might help get the mileage up quicker, and clean some of the crap out of the heads.

Di engines tend to make the tailpipe black. It is normal.
