baking housings, pry apart, cut, glue, paint, 2-3 days? and can fit others in as needed due to dry times. really it's all about the skill and labor.

If there is any painting involved it adds a couple weeks to let paint dry and off gas. I guess if you button up painted parts it could haze the inside of lens.

My build took 3 days but the painting added 3 weeks.

Who has installed these on trucks with the factory HIDs? I bought a set, but after looking at the pictures and how bright these HIDs are, i'm not sure these are going to make much of a difference.

They are wider bean than HIDs.

Mine really help with filling in to the sides and right in front of truck.

What an easy installation! Less my mistakes of reversing the leads and not being smart enough to figure that out. Or see that even when I thought I swapped lead positions, I still got it wrong. Boys n Girls, getting old sucks.... Thanks Dawson for the help!!!

The two things I'm not too thrilled with are the cheap universal connectors needing silicon or dielectric or something to hopefully create a weather tight seal and to my ageing eyes these lamps are more blue/purple than I expected. Oh well, I'm going to wait and see how they perform in the rain/fog when/if winter ever loosens it's grip on NH.

Dawson from http://www.raptorretrofit.com/ is top notch!

I used Liquid Tape to seal my connectors. Hopefully it works.

I used a good amount of dielectric and then electrical tape also.

They are definitely white, the blue/purple might be when looking at them from an angle.

I'm not really sure why they don't come with the connectors already setup, I don't see an advantage of shipping them the way they are now as people may confuse the leads and get the backwards. I used the stock side and lined up the plugs to make sure orientation was correct.

As far as what color the lights looks like is going to depend on the person. Some people see a black and blue dress some see a white and gold dress.
