Now that I think about it, my 97 SHO and 04 Explorer was green back lit also. May have to get some UV led's to match my gauge cluster. Should be easy enough to crack open the pad, it's all plastic and I know how to solder circuit boards. Hmm

Thanks for the idea.

Originally I was gonna have Shane send me just the LEDs for me to swap out but figured since he does plenty of tiny soldering jobs like this everyday, I would leave it to the pro!

Yeah if you've never done board soldering that is best. Back in the 80's I was etching my own circuit boards from Radio Shack for various projects and soldering can be tedious.

If you accidently lock the keys in the truck. If you want to keep the truck running but lock the doors when you run inside the gas station. If your at work and dont like to keep keys in your pocket you can lock them in the truck.

I cant believe that no other company had started putting the keypads.

I use it all the time to leave my truck running on cold mornings when I run into the gas station for a coffee.

What's weird is that the Super Dutys keypads are back lit white, not green like the F150s.
