Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chris, known as Yuke across many other forums and I recently just sold my 2001 Mustang GT to pick up a 2013 F150 STX with the 5.0

The STX is a fairly basic truck, but it is just enough for me.

Mods so far:
- 2" Level
- 20% Tint on all windows
- FX4 Tails w/ painted edges
- added amber reflectors to mirrors (thinking about swapping tow mirrors on soon)
- swapped center consoles with a xlt so I now have the compartment in the arm rest and cup holders up top
- Custom Hid Retrofits by me, I retrofit as a small side gig: www.facebook.com/yukeshidretrofits

Anyways on to some pics

My old mustang I miss dearly:

Retrofits I built

Enjoy!

retrofit looks sick. Nice looking truck. A set of chrome/polished 20x10's on some 33's would complete the look IMO

What are the appeal of the retrofits? I don't understand what I'm looking at when I see them... It looks like the light output is so low and I don't get ripping the lights apart to insert color accents... Not trying to be rude. Someone enlighten me..

So the colored accents are just for looks and stay on when the headlights aren't being used at night too?

Looks great, love my STX.

The retros add a projector for the hid bulb to concentrate the light with a nice cut off. The colored accents are just for show for the most part.

I get that but I don't have HID's... Do they put it into my housing or what?

I start with standard housings and build the projector lights by hand. It's just the correct way to add Hids to the car. The halos are a add on I simply thought looked nice, they are not needed

Blank slate

In process

And finished result above
