Ya know, the worst that could happen is you swap it and it's 10k extra. Write down what your original miles were, then swap it out. If it doesn't show your miles, take it to Ford. They should only charge half an hour labor to reprogram it with your miles.

Don't quote me on the charge, though. It might be more if your dealership is a bunch of douchebags. lol It would just seem fair to only charge half an hour because it's really nothing more than reflashing. Unless you have to take the gauge out to reprogram it, which it would probably be an hour and a half.

The mileage is stored in the cluster, folks. If you buy a cluster with 10k more miles on it than your truck has, wait 10k miles to install it. It's pretty simple.

Thumbs up

Hey guys,

Just back from the install shop and had the stripes replaced that were crooked and had they install my new "4X4" decal and also the tailgate stripes. I know there are probably some people that are going to scoff at this customization, but I love them. Also, I had to snap a few more pics because the Sunset looked amazing under their warehouse lights.

The sign shop asked me if they could use my truck for advertising on their website. I told them "of course!"

truck does look great.....to be honest I can't decide if I like the stripes on the tailgate or not......but then I never did like those indented lines to begin with, and that is a nice creative thing to do with them

Truck looks awesome! I like the tail gate more that I thought I would. Looks good with the Sunset. I like all the black touches!

See I like the black lines on the tailgate. I think that's how they should come with the FX4's. I'm not fond of the polished aluminum look on some of the trucks, and the bare tailgate just looks like it's missing something to me. Definately a fan of the paint though. That does look amazing.
