Default new IC and shield

Hey guys, I have a 2011 f150 Eco. Thank God I have had no problems with it, so far lol. I am curious to what does, "IC and new shield" mean. I think IC new intercooler and shield an actual shield for it? I would like to see what the shield looks like. Can someone post a pic? Why would a shield prevent the shudder? I don't get it. Also doesn't the intercooler need ventalation? post a pic...thanks

Yeah, it means a new CAC(Intercooler) and a Deflector Shield which ford installs on top of the new IC! Sorry to lazy tonite for pic posting, lol

The shield is literally a thick plastic sleeve that fastens to and covers the top of the CAC (or intercooler or IC) and extends down from the top about four inches all the way across, covering that part of the CAC......by the way a CAC means Charged Air Cooler, as the turbos blow hot air into it and it cools the intake charge on the way to the engine
