Default LED Bed Lighting - Rocker Switch Placement Question

I've read enough threads and youtube's on installing LED strip lighting in the bed so I think I know how to install it. I plan on running positive to the engine compartment and installing on a hot source at the fuse box and a negative lead to the frame somewhere. I was thinking to install a rocker switch so I can turn the lighting on/off but also adding in a magnetic switch on the tailgate.

I want to be able to open the tailgate and the lighting turn on but have the rocker switch to be able to turn the lighting off in case I need to drive with the tailgate down. My question though is where to mount the switches? I"m not keen on drilling a hole in the bed and I have a tailgate extender so I can't use the grommet holes that the gate pins into.

If anyone has a similar setup or ideas please let feel free to chime in and attach a picture or two.

I have about 80% of what you are going for. I mounted a switch in the bed for the lights, its just as easy to hit the switch when needed rather than jack with a pressure switch to have them come on. I also ran a wire for my power tonneau to use a bed mounted switch along side the key fob.
