Default New Gear for the Truck?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and the truck community in general. I recently purchased a 2011 XLT 4x4 and I'm wondering what parts you would add to it? I already have an idea of what I want but I'm curious of your guys' input. I'm wanting to replace all the chrome with black, replace the stock headlights and tail lights with black ones, add a winch bumper with a light bar, and bigger tires. However, I don't know what size tires to get (I'm thinking 33"), and what lift would be best or if a leveling kit would be good. Let me know what you guys think. Here's a photo of what I purchased.

COngrats on the truck, it really all depends on if youre modding for looks or for function. What do you do with your truck or what would you like to do with your truck?

black on sterling looks pretty awesome! check out my truck down below.

definitely look to swap the headlights for an OEM projector setup, black fx4 tails, black wheels, also ditch the steps for an Nfab or similar setup. for the grill either replace with an "FX4 C-clamp" grill, aftermarket black grill or leave as is. dont plastidip it makes it look cheesy... just my $.02

as far as wheels go, i went with a 2.5" Auto-spring Level, 18x9 methods, 35x12.50x18 BFG KO2. everything fit ok with minor trimming to the inner plastic of the fender wells.

Congrats on the truck tho!

I was going for looks and functionality. I like to go off roading and off trail camping and such. I want to make sure the truck is fit for that sort of thing.

This is basically what I was going for. I definitely wanted to swap out all the chrome pieces for black. As for tires I wasn't sure what would be the best size. I was between 35s and 33s, but it looks like you have the setup I'm looking for. Thanks guys. And if you think of anything else I would appreciate it.

What gears are on your truck? I would say do 33s. But get a tuner/tunes from Stage3motorsports.com right after.

Default New Gear for the Truck?

Fuel trophy in anthracite matches great IMO especially with some ford hd headlights and tails. I'm not a huge fan of the aftermarket head and tail lights for our trucks. This was the best pic I could find of all three on my truck.
