Default New frame problems.

So a little background last February my truck was stolen they disconnected my horn ripped apart the keypad and demolished in the ignition cylinder all before hitting curb or pothole at a high enough speed to send my front tire up into the front fender causing the tie rod to bend the frame.

Ever since I got the truck back it feels like it is just nickel-and-diming me some electronic feature here or there doesn't work some sensor fails I understand things go out but this is just been a cascading effect

It doesn't help I'm surrounded by dealerships that misdiagnosed my problems repeatedly they want me to buy some $1,100 part for a fuse that has been blown

Since they had to move everything over to a new frame can I hold the repair shop responsible for both of my turbos leaking coolant both valve covers leaking oil and transmission leaking fluid all around gaskets

I'm growing tired I'm spending $100 a month on my vehicle just to keep it running correctly and the check engine light off

I have no idea it would have made my life tons easier especially since I already had gap insurance on it I wouldn't have been out anything

Did you fight them on totaling it? Also, year and mileage? All of my ecos have had those issues and they have been involved in zero accidents.

Yeah, this is just life with an EcoBoost. Unfortunately the accident had nothing to do with it. My truck has never been in an accident and I have the same issues.

No i didnt fight them on totallying it. The truck was valued at $18,000. The new frame parts and labor cost them $15,500. Its a 2013 i baught it in Nov 2016 with 40,000 miles. It has 80,000 miles on it now. When it rains it pours.

That's INSANE. That's 86% of the vehicle value! I've never heard of anyone doing that! I'd certainly try to hold them accountable for it. If they won't keep fixing it, I'd be trying to dump it off on another dealership even at a small loss.

Get rid of it. Diminished value will happen as CARFAX matters.. Take the loss and move on. Fighting backwards into an insurance company is not worth the battle unless you enjoy the fight..
