I might tap a drain hole and valve in mine if I find it necessary. For now, a small flat screwdriver to pull the push pins, then pop off the hoses and it comes off in 10 seconds. Dump out through the lower outlet and put back in. Easy 1 minute job. Ok, maybe 2 or 3 minutes!

That's not true.
Yes its the previous version can and yes its very effective with the remote location and siliconed diffuser. I just removed my throttle body for cleaning (for the first time ever, 20k miles on my truck, this can has been on since 650 miles) and couldnt believe how little buildup there was on the walls around the intake entrance. There was actually NO wet heavy buildup at all, it was only sooty. Took me all of 1 minute to wipe completely clean as far as I could reach, and the rag had no saturation on it whatsoever. Cleaning the TB was quick and easy too. That's as good as it gets. Anything I'm not catching is negligible and inconsequential. Joe@upr knows of my setup and he admitted that it doesnt get much better than mine, and I'd be wasting my money buying their revised can.

And heres most of what I caught in 19k miles. 16oz in the pic. (Some of it isn't pictured here for various reasons).
That ford part needs to be remotely mouted away from the engine heat.

That's most of what you've caught in 19K miles? I dump that much out every week.

I have had the original UPR, Upgraded UPR with extension and diffuser, and now there newest valved UPR. I never catch that much oil. Personally I think each motor is different, a friend that still runs the original UPR, his catches more in a month than I have since I put mine on 2 years ago.

You dump 16oz per week? Either your engine has a major pcv defect or you drive across north america twice a week.
If you read my whole post you'll see the irrefutable evidence that this ford part ain't gonna outperform my setup guaranteed. Especially with it mounted where its catching all that engine heat.

Yes, this time of year, I'll dump approximately 16 oz. every 500 miles. I empty my can every 250 miles. Below is a 20 oz. bottle and what was caught in 500 miles. It's primarily a mixture of water, oil, and gas. If you let it set, it will eventually separate. My can is mounted in the grill, so it does condensate quite a bit in cold weather. In the summer, I will catch about 1/4 to 1/3 this amount, and only empty it about every 1,000 miles. Seems to me this is an indication that the PCV system is working pretty good.

Lee308, it fit perfectly. I'm about 1500 miles into my new oil change and this separator. It's going to be interesting to see what it catches.

That's just completely crazy! Mine doesn't collect a 1/4 of that every 3000miles. I empty mine every oil change.

That looks like the stuff I drain out of my RX can on my 5.0. After about 10,000 miles, I have drained about a gallon total.
