It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. Half the work is already done for you since it already had a projector mounted in it.

..and i put off swapping mine out for 4yrs. it's stupid easy. could be done in 1 day but the OEM permaseal is a b*&^h to remove. i should have done it the day i came home with the truck. the output compared to the stock HID projector is night and day difference. a lot more fun driving at night.

It was a breeze getting the aftermarket ones opened

I have my original stock halogens, then ordered an eBay aftermarket set. They had a leak so I messaged the seller and he sent me a free pair. Then I upgraded the free set. Thinking about upgrading the ones that had a leak.

Thanks! And thanks for your help! May not remember it, but you told me what projectors I ought to use and the modifications you made when you did yours

So when you guys are putting hids in is the return wire on the bottom like it’s supposed to be? Mine is sitting at 12 o’clock and output is terrible. Can I simply just turn the base to rotate the bulb?
