Mine were nice and tight. You guys with issues buy the $218 set or the $280 set on eBay?

Same here no issues with mine. I've had them on for a month now. I bought mine from the same place as beef_stew.

I bought the $218 set and don't have any issues with mine.

UPS says mine (lower priced "not black") version http://www.ebay.com/itm/Raptor-Versi...MAAOSwhQhY1vEy are on the brown truck for delivery today. Anxiously awaiting. Encouraging however that you seem to be able to "fix" the loose projector. Also that the issue doesn't just occur with the low priced units. Maybe they were made in the same factory and are the same throughout. Sellers just priced differently.
Will advise as soon as I see how mine are.

Mine seem tight so im not sure what you mean by the ball socket popping out. Good news my H7 HID kit should is supposed to be delivered today but I wont have time till this weekend to install. Maybe later this summer ill retro in evox-r's but for now I'm broke with redoing my kitchen.

Not sure if this matters or even means anything but last year I bought a set of lights from VIP motoz and the box had the same markings as the ones I just bought. Also I the seller upped' the price to $228.99.

Please post pictures when you can, I'd like to see how they actually look compared to the pictures posted in the ad. If they are more of a grey than black like the OEM ones then I may be ordering a set.

Its not the projector that is loose. It is the bracket the holds the projector and mounts to a ball point so the bracket can be adjusted vertically. Ill try to snap some shots this weekend of what the issue is.

LOL, I had a feeling this would happen.. Honestly guys it's not a big deal. I was able to reattach them in 15 minutes. I just wasn't 100% sure how to tackle it in fear of damaging something. I found posts on other forums where their OEM HIDs had the same thing happen and they just reattached. The only projector headlights I've ever had always stayed in the vehicle so figured I'd ask first.

Like M3TOSVT said it's not really the projector itself. It's the bracket that holds the projector and is attached to ball sockets to be able to adjust the headlight. Both of mine are all attached and I tried to get them to pop back off and couldn't within reason.

They are both the same headlights regardless of the price tag. There aren't two factories in China making these headlights where one factory does a good job and the other one is bad. My guess is this is happening in shipping possibly. I've been to a China port and have actually seen them drop shipping containers ontop of the next one from a 4' so this doesn't surprise me lol.

Just got mine today. Both projectors appear to be solid no looseness. Hopefully I'll install tonight. Planning on a retro fit this summer
