Battery replacement causes CEL
Hello
replaced my battery 2 years ago for $150 at local Ford dealer, this morning it was totally dead. Got her jumped and drove to dealer to get it replaced, after replacing I have a CEL.. any ideas, running fine, will this go away? Can replacing a battery cause a code?

Get the code(s) that the computer put out and go from there. If you don't have a code reader, most of the auto parts stores will read the codes for you for free. Be sure to ask them to NOT clear the codes because if you need to take it some place to get whatever is wrong fixed, that place is going to want to see the codes as well.

As above.
Having a code means nothing if you don't know what the code is.
