Check any '04-present F150 hood. They're all made of aluminum.

I figured they would be just as strong but was wondering if they made them even stronger. Seeing as how the sheetmetal of the current doors shakes a bit when you close it. All speculation of course

My 03 was too. And I remember the left rear quarter panel behind the tire had a bit of an encounter with barbed wire in the mud and it looked like fiberglass underneath
