iOS 11.0.3 and now sync Bluetooth won’t stay on
I’m sort of hoping these are unrelated but who knows.
After iOS 11.0.3 was installed on my phone I could not connect my phone because of an error that says Bluetooth is off do I want to turn it on. YES. But it doesn’t stay on.
Have reset, master reset. Connected via USB and rebooted and have it working.
Anyone had this? I’m going to put in a push button the powers off sync to reset and reboot. Or maybe just connect to the output of the inverter. Ha!!!!!

I had an issue where bluetooth wouldn't show my songs on Sync and if I recall I couldn't change them with the controls. My solution was to downgrade back to IOS10 while they were still signing, unfortunately not possible anymore.
Is this the first time you're on IOS11, or did you have it before 11.0.3 without problems? 11.0.3 probably has bugs that need to be worked out still. I would deal with it until they update it or downgrade to an earlier version of 11.
If you want to downgrade, youtube how to downgrade to an earlier signed version. Looks like you can go to xx.0.2 and xx.0.1.

Never upgrade iOS until x.1 version comes out. And x.2 is even better.

BTW, I've not had that problem with my iPhone 7 on 11.0.3.
The part that really sucks is that I've been driving my folks' '17 Flex a bit over the last week, and its Sync 3 has worked flawlessly with my iPhone. I miss being able to hit the "OK" button on the steering wheel to quickly pause whatever's playing, but over all, it's soooooo much better than what's in my truck that it's not even funny...

Like I said it could just be a bug. Not all upgrades are improvements. There are numerous problems with 11.0.3, bluetooth connectivity being one of them. Not sure if you know this, but the control center has changed in IOS11. Turning off bluetooth from swiping up from the bottom doesn't turn bluetooth on or off. It just disconnects/connects. If you want to turn it off or on you now have to do that through settings. Look into downgrading back to 11.0.2 if it really bothers you and upgrade when the next update comes up. Or plug it in via USB for now.

Actually, now that I think about it, I did have that problem with Sync once or twice, just not with iOS 11. I think I had the problem once while on iOS 10 and once with Windows Phone 8.1. I'm pretty sure I had to pull fuse #2 both times.
