Default New Cap Installed

I got a new ARE Z series cap installed today. Loving it!

The Bedrug and cap carpeting are a very close match.

ARE did a great job on matching the White Platinum Tri-Coat

Garage Clearance... just barely - with the rack on

verry nice cap i have to admit it looks a bit better than my ARE CX, i almost went with the Z but would feel guilty carrying junk and tools in it !

It will... once ARE sends the wiring harness for the lock

I can't complain though, 15 days from when I ordered, and the color match is great, which was my biggest concern.

Looks great! ARE makes some very high quality stuff. Pretty impressed with mine so far. I'd be curious to hear if you find condensation inside your cap? Sometimes I notice my toolbox is wet, but there are no leaks in the cap, so I assume it's just condensation since the truck is parked outside and it gets pretty cold here at night. No getting this beast in the garage for me!!!

Here's my baby with the cap:

I put a Z Series cap on my 2003 F150 when I purchased the truck new. The Tru-Blue color match from the ARE factory was and still is perfect.

I had to replace the rear window because of operator error ($500.00 installed) last summer. Talking to the people at the truck accessory store, the price of the cap has gone up over $1000.00 since I had purchased mine.

I still think they are the best looking, best built, best fit ones available.
