New BFGoodrich KO2 285/65/20 Installed!!

I'd strongly recommend going with 285's if you're going for an aggressive look. I actually regret not getting 295's. I'm at 149k miles. And I doubt I'll have my truck long enough to run my 285's to 0 Treat but the next time I get a set of tires for a Truck I'm going for 295's. But that's just because I like the thicker look.

My personal Opinion is get rid of the 20's like I did. I went from the stock 275/55/20 to 285/65/18 BFG KO2 on after market wheels. This tire/wheel package is 3/4" taller and 3/4" wider, but change the whole stance and look of the truck. Also a bonus, the old "stock" 20's used to rub on full lock, but the new bigger tire does not rub at all with stock suspension. The aftermarket wheels offset is perfect. The truck also rides better and is less jarring over bumps even with the LT tire.

Have you ever seen passenger cars with the little donut? I'm pretty sure the spare will work no matter what size tire you use, 33", 35", 37". Remember the spare is only there to get you to the tire shop. Not to be driven on for a long period and certainly not to tow/haul with.

Tire shop says these won't fit my truck. 2013 fx4 with 1.5 AS level. What the hell. They said it would tear everything to pieces. Hopefully they are full of it considering how much these cost!?
