Default New Battery Problems

I just replaced the battery in my 2012 F150 with and Optima.
Everything seems to work except the electric running boards.
Did I blow a fuse or is there a reset procedure?
Thanks

You possibly blew a fuse. Start looking for one.

I know when I disconnect the battery on my Platinum or load a tune, I have to go into the menu on my dash where the speedo is and turn the running board function back on. Mine defaults to off every time and the miles turn into kms....but my truck is also Canadian born so it makes sense (for the units)

Just replaced my battery in my 2013. I also had to go to my menu under truck setting and set to auto.

Yeah I freaked out the first time it happened to me...then I played around in the dash and found it. I was super relieved.
