I think the other is to send info to the LCD screen. When I installed my aftermarket DD hu, those 2 were not used. I installed the unit myself.

So, I dont think you need those two. I just zip tied them out of the way.

No never got it working. It's still sitting in my bedroom till I can afford to have a pro try to hardwire it.

Any update on this unit? I came across it doing google search. Looks nice. I have the Sony Sound package as well. Does it support the Sony system?

It works fine for ppl with out the Sony system. If you have the Sony system you'll have to buy a new amp and get it wired to the unit because it doesn't have an amp turn on switch.

So we should think outside the box here a little. Find out what wire in the factory harness powers the amp and splice that wire into the power feed to the radio.

BTW: Where is the factory Sony amp in the truck? Anyone know?
