You can but may have to add a regular RCA type end to the stock video feed.

You would have to take the video feed from the stock camera and plug it to the video in for the reverse camera.

and its comes with everything you need to install.

Does it use the Ford video harness connection? I know that it is not an RCA type of connector that is used in all other DD HU's.

I researched using a stock rear camera to my after market DD HU and found that I would have to splice on a male RCA in place of the stock plug.

It uses RCA, I am sure you can either buy or make an adaptor

Cool, it's not hard, just a headache to splice.

Any updates or news? Looks like no issues from those who got it.

bought a unit. Thanks for posting. I was wondering how you hooked up the back up camera? Did you have the one that uses rear view mirror ? I'm just trying to figure out how to do it. Any info would help.

Does it plug into the factory harness? Any splicing needed besides the backup camera?

Searched the thread, sorry if I missed this question.

Thanks.
