I have the same issue at 60 mph. The dealership did have the tires rotated and balanced which made it somewhat better but still feel the shake.

I have the same issue as all here. So order a raptor trans mount and shim it? With what and what degree? Like an alignment shim? I manage a mechanic shop so I'm not foreign to this, just foreign to design flaw engineering on a mass based scale.

My Raptor mount will be here today I'll let you know what happens. I went to Lowes and got 1/8 flat stock to make shims with. After I install the new mount I'll see where the drive line angles are, and whether or not I'll need to shim anything.

Hi there, Rocket630!

Since I'm not a technician, I don't have any info on repairs, but I'll be happy to check out some additional assistance for anyone with this concern. Just send over a PM with some background info on your concern along with your VIN, mileage, best daytime phone number, full name, and dealer name/location.

I already have a case open and the last time I had the dealer work on it Ford Service called and left a message, and I called back and left a message. But never heard another word.

I've been dealing with this same crap since I bought my truck, October of 2014.

My Regional Customer Service person QUIT returning my calls.

My truck is still not fixed.

On a positive note, after a while, your *** will be numb to the vibration.

Ford Customer service is a joke.

Well today I finally got to mess with my truck some. The Raptor mount wasn't the magic fix I had hoped for but it helped slightly. I ended up putting a 1/2" worth of shims under the carrier bearing and that seemed to help some, but the vibration is still there. With the shims I got all the angles from the transfer case to the pinion flange at 2 degrees or less and the vibration still persists at the exact same speed. Not exactly sure what to try next. Wish Ford Service would call me back.

.5 of an inch of shim is a lot, getting the trans yoke and jackshaft within .5 of a degree should not take much, mine was at 1.3 different from yoke to shaft. but the tail shaft is always changing, the working angle on mine is different by 2 degrees. That's the tail shake I get. With the new leaf spring being stiff, they say, it takes time. Whatever. there is a design flaw or a product failure at hand. I don't think I should have to to prove my problems to an all knowing dealership, they always know the right answers and questions, but we still have kidney pain from the shake in the seat. What you say Ford techs? How do you suggest getting the angle right? I hate to think people are screwing up transmissions by welding there trans mount together.
