Default New 2013 F-150 Platinum 5.0

Hey everyone!

I traded in my 2006 F-150 Lariat last Sunday for this 2013 Platinum 5.0. I already had several mods on the 2006 including the wheels/tires. So I had the dealer swap the wheels and tires and today I had new Nitto 420s 305/40R22s installed along with the TPMS sensors. You can read about my tire ordeal in another thread.

I am very happy with this truck. It's a vast improvement from the 2006 model. I am looking for mods already and can't wait to get more out of this 5.0.

LOL thanks.

I have had no problems with Covert for the last 3 vehicles purchased there. I understand MANY people have. They had a special with $6700.00 off this truck plus Ford rebates. Supposedly they showed me invoice and I was 5 grand under it. I know some dealers fake invoice. My wife gets which ever plan is $100 over invoice and he said there was NO point. I got lucky, this truck was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Everyone else had Triple White and I didn't want that color.

As for the slides, I actually like them however I am a chrome guy.

I am not sure if exhaust or lowering is coming next. I want to hear the 5.0 (louder than the stock exhaust).

Chase I was actually thinking about the Solo Dual exit exhaust. Do you have any experience with them? If not what are you running?
