I'd be willing to bet it's applied at the factory, at least on most

Weird. My Dearborn 2012 does have this, but I wasn't aware of it until I saw this thread. I had to feel along the body where they're applied - very hard to see on the Tuxedo Black Metallic paint.

It's hard to see on any vehicle unless ur on ur back looking at it. Lol.
