New '13 Platinum
hello, everyone. been lurking for quite some time and doing research before pulling the trigger. picked up my first f-150 this week and absolutely loving it. traded in my '07 x5, which i really enjoyed but i grew tired of the electrical gremlins and feared the inevitable big repair.
did my first few "mods" today: tint, blendmount with stealth wires for my v1, and a trailer hitch cover. lower bumper billet grille arrives monday. couple of newb questions (did a search first but didn't find anything relevant or recent):
1) on my exterior keypad, only every other key lights up (1/2, 5/6, 9/0), while 3/4 and 7/8 remain unlit. is this normal or do i have my first repair?
2) the rear seat bottoms lift without pulling the under-seat lever. i have to pull the lever to put them down but not to flip them up. again, normal or are they not fully seating when horizontal?
sorry for the dumb questions; glad to be a part of such a great forum. i've already learned a lot of great stuff here. thanks in advance.
oh, and obligatory first post pic. sorry for the poor and dark cell phone pic. best i could do tonight.

Nice ride man. I don't have a 13, but I do have a 10
1 On my keypad only my 3/4 and 7/9 light up, so I would say thats normal but someone can confirm
2 My rear seats lift up without pulling the lever, but need to lever pulled to place back down. So again I would say normal

Good looking truck. Congrats. As for the number pad I have never noticed that so I would say that is not normal. The seats are designed that way. Easy up so that you can lift the, when you have stuff in your hands....trust me its better that way. They should lock in the up position and then you pull the handle to put back down.
