passive arming should be bank 2 option 3

Getting into programming mode:
1. Open the driver’s door;
2. Turn the ignition key to the ON or RUN position;
3. Press and hold the programming/override button;
After 10 seconds the horn will chirp 3 times, indicating the system is now in the transmitter learn mode.
4. Release the programming/override button;

To change the setting of an option:
1. Press the door trim “Lock” switch to advance to the desired option
The horn will chirp a number of times to indicate which option is selected
2. Press the door trim “Unlock” switch to change the setting of the option
The status LED indicates the setting of the option: LED ON indicates that the option is on, LED OFF indicates that the option is off.

To advance to the next option bank:
1. At any point while in option programming, press and release the programming/override button to advance to the next option bank.

I've been reading this PDF, it's basically an installation guide. Although the fobs it shows are different than mine. http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/jm...42008_base.pdf

I found why it auto arms in this PDF, it's called passive arming. Now I just need to try it. But it's after 11pm here and I don't want to **** off the neighbors. Now to see if it has remote start capabilities.

no idea which package you have, no remote start though. I'm trying to help you with the alarm arming itself after 30 seconds
