Default Nerf Bar rust at 36k
Got a question - Does anyone know if the Nerf Bars are covered by any warranty? Was washing the truck yesterday and notices some bubbles and a 1 inch section that has peeled off already.

Trucks a 2013 FX4.

Factory installed ones are covered by the 3/36 new vehicle warranty.

They do, its a shame because the chrome ones I had on my 2010 never got a spec of rust. I'll run up to the dealer this weekend and see if they can do anything since I'm a couple hundred miles over the 36k.

You sure they are the factory bars?

I thought they only put chrome on the XLT and Lariat chrome package trucks. Never seen an FX4 with chrome bars??

My 2010 was a XLT with the Chrome steps - This one is a 2013 FX4 App Package w/ Black ones
