Nice truck and color. I see you have the window rain visors, maybe consider the OEM Ford Bug deflector for the hood. It'll complete the visor look and give you functionality by protecting your paint on the hood. You can find it for $70ish on ebay.
Also, I say keep the chrome, though I'm old school. I remember when you would pay premium for chrome and black plastic was cheapo.
As for trail grapplers, they're nice looking, but unless you're going to be going off roading, I would consider another option. If you like the quality of your ride, just be aware that they will stiffen the ride and louden the road noise. I don't personally have them, but a friend of mine does and it rode nothing like mine does on stock tires. It was a bit rough and noisier.
You might want to add a brush guard or Bull bar, to give it a more aggressive look.
Just my two cents, good luck.

This is a picture of a few mods I've done on my XLT. I've changed the grill to one from a Lariat. Added front chrome tow hooks, color-matched mirrors and door latches. One of the first things I changed was swapped out the stock 18" wheels and tires for a set of OEM 20's. I traded the original jump seat for a console along with installing a bak F1 bed-cover. Swapped out the OEM head and tail lights for a set of lights from a Harley-Davidson F150.

I'm not a chrome fan, but I like a little. I'd remove the steps and replace with some black one with maybe a touch of chrome ans trade out mirror caps to PTM ones. Looks great as is though

I'm not a big chrome fan, however, if this were my truck I wouldn't go blacking it out, except FX4 heads/tails. I'd put on a set of 20" chrome rims, 34"-35" white lettered BFG AT's and PTM pocket flares, with a 2.5" leveling kit and rear blocks or airbags. But hey, that's just me.

I agree. Keep the chrome. It looks good on your truck willisod!
