Never trust kbb...most states / dealers use some other sort of guide. I know some NJ dealers use Galves and PA in my experience use Black Book. KBB is typically 3-5k higher than what you can expect to get on a trade.

You can look at it either way...really depends on the dealer and which numbers they want to match. In my experience whatever i thought my car was worth, dealer usually took about $3500 off of that. If they want the sale they will work with you...if not, like i told the manager at a ford dealership in paramus, nj...it's a ford...not hard to find a dealer willing to work with me...with that i took my business elsewhere.

38,000 with taxes and fees, but the one my dealer is offering has less options such as appearance, navigation, dual climate, appearance package. Id be saving like 6000 dollars with the one my dealer is offering.

About its 1000 difference, for the truck itself but my dealers willing to give me 24,000 while fairway is offering 19,000. so about 6000 dollars difference.

see if one or the other will bend a bit, fairway on dollars, your dealer on options...there's always ways to work numbers in your favor...
